"We came here as a thank you for the in-laws. And while they felt appreciated........ we wondered at the value. The meals were big (there was definitely no big plate, small serve) and the service was brilliant - but at night the location meant nothing to our value proposition. We had trout (yum), fish and chips (yum), chicken in procuito (meh). Don't get me wrong, it was a treat ...... but two courses and two glasses of wine for $135 ea seemed a bit steep and we r spoilt for choice in Melb. Reserve for special occasions"

"The dishes were so impressive. We were told the menu change quite often depending on the seasons and produce available. Nice oyster selection served with a very refreshing cucumber gazpacho; mussels were good too. We had artichokes all the time but never thought they could be so deliciously baked! For mains, the roast pork here was unforgettable. The whiting and Wagyu were excellent. Took us 15min drive from city center and plenty of street parking available."

"Than a restaurant. Friendly staff but music blaring out, we were the only customers and when we asked if they would turn it down we were told they like it loud to get themselves motivated. Won't be returning."

"Ordered via uber eats, waited 1 hour and called to get delivery updates (they are not live in the uber app as they have their own riders), the restaurant then notified me they had sold out of the item i ordered. thats 1 hour waiting 1 hour went by and they never called their customer to see if i wanted something else 1 hour looking at my order live on their eber tablet and didnt hit 'cancel ' 1 hour later looking back on the app and the item STILL says its available the staff member on the phone was dismissive and rude, the manager even worse"

"Best value in Melbourne. Thrill to find this little gem in busy St Kilda. Thursday night dinner with friends and delighted to find a 20 steak special that included salad , chips and a glass of good Shiraz. The a la carte menu was wonderful too and the selection of whiskeys and cocktails extensive and interesting. Warm and knowledge service made it a very special night Great little restaurant!"
