"Sat down for a breakfast special. When the coffee came, it was weak. Some minutes later the waitress came to explain that the food will take time as they are understaffed. Then the manager came out to say that they have no gas as someone didn't order. Order was cancelled and separate coffees were charged. R25 for a weak coffee. I'll rather go to one of the other food places in Kolonnade."

"If you like beer, go to Capital Craft! This place is built on a love and passion for the craft of good beer and it shows up constantly and frequently. It's truly amazingly and I thank the owners immensely! The vast, and i do mean multiple pages vast, selection of different beer on tap and in bottles is absolutely astonishing. They also do a wide selection of boutique and specialty gin, whisky, whiskey, wine and all the usual spirits. The food selection is familiar, but also unique, edgy and brave. There are the familiar burgers and German sausages, but then the chef takes you on this wild adventure to pork lollipops, Stoute Roomys and some truly beautiful vegan options, like the Cheeky-Pea Bun. The resturant and all their offerings are modern and the service is excellent, yet everywhere you look there is some small piece of iconic beer history and a legacy of what was, what is and hopeful what will be tomorrow."

"Food and service was fantastic.German Buffet, with German and other European beers, what a delight. I loved the desserts, could not stay away from them. Food was tasty, and the atmosphere was awesome, there was a gentleman who played on an electric keyboard was really fun to sing along."

"28.08.2019 Craving some good homemade type Portuguese food? Look no further Pretoria Peeps, @Portugalo has come to the rescue.<br/ <br/ Situated in Brooklyn Square, it has a nice cozy setup, with inside and outside seating – perfect for the upcoming summer months. A group of us got treated to a variety of items off the menu for starters, mains and dessert, and all recipes used were handed down from Mothers to daughters within the family.<br/ <br/ On arrival we were welcomed with a shot of Ginjinha, although mixed reviews on the taste, I kinda liked it. Thereafter, we had some Portuguese wine that they have on the wine list – Mariana Branco. It’s a white wine with notes of green apple, citrus fruit, and tropical flavours, so its fresh and fruity.<br/ <br/ Now onto the food, we practically ate the entire menu if you see the list below <br/ <br/ Starters:<br/ <br/ •Prawn Rissoles absolutely delicious, you can taste the prawn meat inside it's not just filled with sauce.<br/ •Fired Up Chourico it was definitely on fire.<br/ •Grilled Sardines although tasty it had way too many bones for easy eating.<br/ •Portuguese Style calamari yummy<br/ •House Style Mussels didnt taste this<br/ •Chicken Giblets/Livers sorry I dont eat these<br/ •Portuguese Salad – lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, red onions, black olives and Portuguese dressing<br/ <br/ Mains:<br/ <br/ •Pork bean Stew great flavour<br/ •Portuguese Tripe no thanks I stuck with the normal stew.<br/ •Pork Loin with Clams didnt try this.<br/ •Prawns who doesn't love prawns??<br/ •LM Baby Chicken honestly you can leave me with a plate of chicken with the Milho frito and I'm good to go.<br/ •Milho Frito my favorite with the chicken and my new found love their Peri sauce.... Amazing.<br/ •Round Potato Fries spicy and carblicious<br/ • Whole fish probably one of my favourites for the evening perfectly spiced, juicy and tender.<br/ <br/ Desserts:<br/ <br/ •Pasteis de Nata who can resist them when freshly baked and that smell just tempts you. We could have eaten many more...<br/ •Chocolate Mousse Pudding<br/ •Heavenly Cream Fluffy cream mousse and ‘Maria’ biscuits topped with homemade custard. "The mom's prawns which i had. Were amazing. They are huge but I got like 5 of them and for a prawn lover like me they were not enough. Their stuff are the friendliest people i have met in pretoria recently. Oh and i had this other burger forgot its name, its got avo chakalaka and a boerewors pattie and O. M. W the boerewors pattie......... Out of this world. I think they used the SA number one wors to do the pattie and it was toooo nice"
