" Decent food at a decent price. Friendly servers. Excellent frozen margarita. Very good coffee. Any pancit is good. Desserts are very good. Char Kway Teow, Chicken Diablo, Bicol Express, and Shrimp Tempura - try them - maybe not in one sitting. "

"Food Hall has been around for a while but have not been able to dine there until now. The ambience is perfect for date night with the dim lights. Servers are attentive and selection of food and drinks is varied enough to suit your date's...palate. We ordered the raw oysters for starters which are nice because they were huge! Then we had vongole for our pasta and crispy pork for our meat. The vongole was different that most I tried. Mainly because they use habd-rolled pasta which did not absorb the sauce well so it is a bit saucy. Nevertheless, I found the sauce good. It would have been better if the pasta dish was served with bread so we can mop up the sauce with it. I imagine it would have been delicious. The crispy pork we were not too happy with. The meat was tough to chew. But if you're not too fussy about food and looking for a nice place for a date, Food Hall is a nice venue."

"I am partial to sizzlers because they mean a warm meal. However, I refrain from ordering them because the aroma could stick to clothes.

Sizzling Plate at SM Aura offers many items in their menu, including rice meals, omelettes and desserts. Orders and payments are taken first and customers are asked to wait while their orders are being prepared in the kitchen. The servers wait until the initial sizzle dies down before serving the dish to the customer so there is less chance of getting burned or for the smell to stick to clothes.

On my two visits, I ordered the same thing, Pork Steak Meal which came with pork steak drenched in gravy, buttered vegetables and rice. While I was impressed the first time, I thought that the meat was not as tender the next time. I wondered if that was because the mall was having a 3-day sale and the restaurant was busy.

But I'll probably be back as I want to try the other items on the menu. The restaurant just has to work on its consistency."

"This is the longest day of my life and Mc Café BGC helped me ease my agony waiting for a shoot at the nearby BGC Arts Center to end. The place has wifi and power outlets for your charging needs. It also has a nice and clean restroom that you will not typically see in conventional McDonald’s store. But if you’ll compare the McFreeze which only costs Php32.00 versus the Mc Café Smoothie worth Php140.00 will really make you think twice. But the ambiance will certainly change your perspective. I had Dalandan Smoothie, Café Americano, Croissant, Cookies, Cheesecake and Ensaymada! It’s just sad that they don’t offer fries..."

"As an act of contrition, I sought out a vegetarian friendly place as penance for back to back days of imbibing in gloriously fatty fried iterations of bacon (i.e. bacon kare kare, bacon chicharon, and just plain bacon). I had the sandwich 'n soup combo with a side salad to go. The tuna pesto sandwich was delicious and would definitely get a repeat, the pear and feta salad was kindly whipped up especially for me as it wasn't on display - and it was refreshing and crunchy, the soup of the day though (minestrone?) was thin.

***

You're welcome, MUNCH! ????"

"Revisted Mesclun 12 months after my first visit. And the good news is they have maintained there standards. Food and Services was great again. The menu hadn't changed, which isn't a bad thing as there are plenty of options."

"My friends have been giving this glowing reviews but I only got around to trying this now.

I had such high expectations of the Winner Winner Chicken Dinner that I was a bit underwhelmed by it. I mean it was good but I knew I've had better, say, Bad Bird, Kettle or even freshly cooked KFC. I loved the side veggies but didn't fancy the bacon and cheddar cookie. The mashed po was different and interesting, but not my cup of tea. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Warm Brownie Skillet on the other hand gets ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I can't even begin to describe how good this is. The brownie was really moist, warm, and had just the right sweetness. The mantecado ice cream, salted dulce de leche and dark chocolate syrup were incredible and the almonds sprinkled on it balanced all the sweetness.

Service was friendly, quick, and attentive. I'd give it 5 stars, along with the ambience. I like the layout and acoustics of the place (Does not feel noisy or crowded even when the place is packed). ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I would still come back to try the Salpicao and have more of that amaaazing dessert. ????

manilabymouth.wordpress.com"

"October 10, 2016 || #913 || You can find better, but this will do.

The beef soup base is consistent with my previous visit at their greenbelt branch. New stores of Pho Hoa and My Thai Kitchen have merged into one for practical reasons I presume. So beyond the brand's move to consolidate and save rent is the same old average to above average Vietnamese coking with their Phos still showing some hope, as my bowl was quiet enjoyable. I had the classic beef noodle soup (315 PHP) a large bowl (20 peso premium than the small bowl) filled with noodles, thinly sliced beef, and greens. The beef stock is modest with a grain and for the most part satisfying.

eater.ph"

"My favorite place for katsu fix! IMO, even their shredded cabbage, miso soup, dipping sauce, and salad dressing all taste better than their competitors'

I've dined in both branches (Makati and BGC), and I've always been satisfied with the food and service.

Serving time can be a drag sometimes especially if you come in at peak hours but personally, I don't mind since I really love their food.

My absolute favorite is the Original Tenderloin. If it's your first time at Saboten, I highly recommend getting this or the Original Loin.

My boyfriend likes their claypot katsu and curry katsu as well.

As for their desserts, the hazelnut cake is okay. I wouldn't mind ordering it again but I prefer desserts from other establishments."
