"This is a really busy restaurant and I would recommend to book a table in advance, meeting and greeting is very friendly. it is family-oriented and offers high chairs for babies. I ordered the steak and it was cooked to perfection, if they have a sweet tooth, they will enjoy the desserts, as the portions are very generous. this is the first restaurant where I used environmentally friendly straws, I was very impressed and hope that more follow there."

"I am writing this as my daughter and I were one of the couples that were in the restaurant when the baby shower was on. I have to say something about the bad review they gave. 1 they had plenty of room and it did not affect their space at all. The food was lovely ALL the staff were very good and helpful . There were some at the babyshower being rude everytime a waitress came up to serve it was not yet ,so if you take so long for every one to turn up and then longer to even order logic tells you there will not be so much time after. They are a small pub and have a business to run so if you wanted the whole place to yourself then book the whole place and if you wanted it all day then book for the whole. Before anyone thinks that I know the people that run the pub , you are wrong this was my first time . And I will be going back a lovely little pub that canters for everyone"

"If I could rate this a zero, I would. this restaurant has celebrated my 7th anniversary with my partner. I had an email 1 day before booking to confirm that I am still coming. When we arrived at the restaurant, we saw that the restaurant was closed for the maintenance, we were only confused when the disappointment and dissatisfaction occurred when we realized that we had spent hours preparing and going there for free. there was no email to inform me about the closure, there were no information on the website, google said the restaurant was open when it was clear, no one had contacted me etc. Why could I book when the restaurant was closed? it doesn't make any sense and is inevitable. I would not be shocked if this did not reopen, because after some of the reviews online I think I have actually scored a ball with this. the restaurant is welcoming, back to the liquidation for bourgeee."

"Sat waiting to be served while a member of staff sat eating in the general area. She didn't acknowledge our presence. To top that, with a face that says you have a month to live and I forgot to tell you three weeks ago is...not what you want to be greeted with. However the other girls sort of made it easier. However I would be reluctant to class this as value for money. It's not bad but it's not worth the money it cost. When you eat out you like to be treated a bit special. Of I want to wait an eternity and have attitude I can eat at home. Guys and girls, You need to step up the anti. Then to serve food up after an in reasonable wait its wrong. Won't be rushing back. As it's a bit out the way to everything else I would have thought hey would make more effort. You have a potential for a little gold mine. Turn it round. Pull your staff into line. This isn't a meeting point for bling. And just morning coffee for school mums this has potential to go far."

"Honestly I have nothing but good words. This place was absolutely fantastic; the food, the atmosphere and the service. All the staff was very friendly, especially Mintu and Tanzeel. Not to forget the owner Ray always shows the greatest hospitality and the most friendliest welcome. I had the chicken tikka biriyani, garlic chicken, and a new meat dish they have on the menu (forgot the name). Absolutely smashing with a pint. This place has become my Thursday night regular and is always my most recommended curry house. If you want smashing food and company I highly recommend coming here. Will be having my daughters grad party here next month and honestly can’t wait. Normally most places lack consistency but never with Taste of Aveley. 10/10 for everything. Make sure you give it a try."
