"I usually never write reviews, but after I went to dinner at this place, I should warn people about it. we (I and 6 others) arrived at 5:30 a.m. and the food was left before they closed at 2:30 a.m. the food that was brought out after that was not much better. it is expensive for the quality of the food you get, at least for the buffet. did not try anything from the actual menu."

"The restaurant is situated in a villa in the outskirts of Weiden you'll most likely have to know of its existence beforehand, otherwise the location is not that obvious. The concept and many of the menu items are Spanish or Spanish inspired, and are...actually quite loyal to the original concept. I was invited here for dinne one vening, and when we arrived the place seemed vacant, but after half an hour the place filled up. We shared some tapas as starters, which was well composed, fresh and tasty. The wine was a white from Conca de Barbera just outside Barcelona, which had exactly the right balance between fruit and acidity. As main course I had the lamb rack, which was local produce, I was told. It was very tender and succulent and braised to a perfect light rose colour we stayed with the same white for the main course and it could easily bear the meat. The service was nice and helpful, but I would suggest that a slightly deeper knowledge of the wines on the wine list, would be helpful for people not that much into wine. Recommendable place for dinner"

"The liu Man-Xiu is one of two china restaurants in weiden. as usual, both offer a buffet where they can prepare themselves in the open kitchen, beside the horses, already finished dressing and various desserts. from the selection of food and ingredients, the liu is perfect and hardly surpassed. all types of meat and meat are offered, in addition to raw materials, already cooked Chinese specialties such as roasted duck, roasted garnel, seafood and barley and rice dishes. but also for those who pay attention to their line, there is enough choice. besides salates and suppening there is a huge selection of fresh vegetables and fruit (which do not want to have an ice as dessert): . the one star is released because of the very high loudness in the restaurant and the person who gave us something first. then the tellers were always very quickly removed and our service was very friendly! who would like to go to the liar at the weekend should possibly pre-order a table. we got another one, but also with a lot of luck:"

"Been a few times now when staying in Weiden and every time the food has been excellent. Wide choice of dishes on the menu. This time I had the duck breast which was cooked really well and nicely pink, served on various red berries and...vegetables. Nice glass of red wine and the sweet was a wonderful chocolate pudding with melting centre, lemon ice cream and more fruits. Could not fault the meal at all. Staff were friendly as well. Will definitely be back on my next visit."
