"I went to the Canal House and thought it was very nice... The staff was excellent and the Prime Rib delicious... The bar has 20 designs of beers and everyone is friendly.... You have music all weekend I would definitely make that my place for dinner and drinks"

"Very popular with the locals at lunchtime, always a good sign. I got the sliced beef sandwich, fries, and a drink…everything ala carte…total about $14. I used to think that was pricey but that’s the world we live in these days. It was delicious and portions were ample. I thought maybe the fries were a bit small at first but the sandwich is big enough that the fries were right. The staff was friendly and the crowd filled the place, although I had no trouble finding a table for one. It’s very small town-y, in a good way. Unpretentious. I was just passing through but if I lived nearby it would be a favorite place."

"When we first walked in there was a bug climbing the wall next to the host stand. Nice small place but the food was ok. I ordered a ribeye and it was the worst ribeye I have had. Barely even marbled so might have even served me the wrong cut or it was just a bad ribeye. The entire steak was burnt and left a terrible after taste. Their special steak sauce tasted like they added a fee spices to Heinz ketchup. Caramelized Brussels sprouts are good. Definitely spend your money elsewhere if you want steak but otherwise it wasn't terrible."

"Super amazing Italian/Greek food restaurant! Service was good, food was delicious! Was visiting someone in St Claire's hospital just across the street, was the closest place to grab a bite! We had a slice of pizza to go and a kids chicken fingers and ff. I had a veggie calzone there in the dining room, it was huge, came with red marinara sauce. My friend said the pizza was good and her daughter loved the chicken fingers! Stop by, it's good food!"
