"Incredibly noisy, the hostess was rudely impatient and clearly showing stress. I reserved a regular table in the back room away from the bar......and was seated at a high top with 3 other people. They had no unsweetened tea which was disappointing and the tuna crunch (my favourite dish) was unavailable due to a cooler failure. Disappointing on so many levels....Tyler was charming, apologetic, and did what she could to make the experience more enjoyable. We came up with an alternative for the tuna crunch which was delicious."

"Great food and service. Very friendly staff and very accommodating for our two children. We all ate until we were full and went into our pockets with two more meals worth of food. Great neighborhood restaurant and good Italian food. I would recommend the Calimari as a starter who can keep up with the best that Chicago has to offer. We will come back 10 out of 10 experiences! ????????"
