"So wanted to love this place as we loved it when it was the Boatyard and used to be weekly regulars.We got seated at 5:00pm and no happy hour menu was given to us while everyone around us was enjoying happy hour items. Ok. No big deal. We thought 5:00pm was the cutoff. We found out later that other people were seated next to us and were offered happy hour menus…We ordered an ice tea and ordered our food. Large pizza and a burger with mushrooms.We then waited a good 20-25 minutes until our ice tea was brought to the table. It was lukewarm even though the glass was 1/2 filled with ice.Another 1/2 hour went by until the food arrived. Both items looked delicious. The pizza was excellent.The burger and fries were completely cold.Nobody every came to check on our food or drinks so we just shared the pizza and set the hamburger and empty ice tea to the side.When the waiter finally came, we were done with the pizza. He didn’t seem surprised the burger was cold, simply apologized and said he would take it off the bill. No manager ever came to the table to talk to us. We were basically treated like someone who was expected to never return. As a local resident who tries to support local businesses, it was just very disappointing."

"The price for tea service was $5 less per person when I made the reservation but I was charged the new price anyway. For the amount and type of food, it is way too expensive. The server was not very attentive and didn't seem like he wanted to be helpful when my mom had questions while ordering. The atmosphere was too casual, being inside of a storefront. It was also hard to find and parking was not very convenient. I was disappointed mostly with the value for the price. This was supposed to be a special time with my elderly mother for her birthday. We had a nice chat anyway. Nothing really terrible happened, but I expected more for the cost."

"This will be one of our new favorite go-to restaurants. I do not know how we have missed this place being locals! The drinks, food and atmosphere were perfect. I had a Friscopolitan to drink- perfect for summer and yummy. The deviled eggs and homemade rolls were my daughters favorite, and mine. We ordered steak and chicken piccata. Both were fabulous! Save room for dessert. The chocolate silk pie is heaven. It is probably the best I have had. Such a cute place with outstanding food and service. Will be back soon! The bar is also cute. Small and cozy when you walk in. May have to sit there next time and learn about how the place came about. The house was built in 1917 and has been several things."
