"We chose boyds for a pre-theater soup because of the special 2-course offer and because of its proximity to the falgar studios in whitehall. the offer was £22.50 per for 2 courses. our last bill came to £94 including service fee. where were all extras? weeping through the glass was very expensive and before dinner g T’s were £12.50 each we only ordered one-on-one measures, but let us hope they were double! service was very attentive, a new member of the team went on board to take care of us. our mains were good, but not delicious. my pudding was described as gnocchi, but was more like teig balls filled with scaling hot cream, over which there was no warning. so I burned the dach of my mouth just before I went to the theater. God's thanks to desert was served with ice!"

"From the moment I arrived to when I left the team made me feel like I was staying at a hotel and had been there for days. They were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. They dealt with my intolerances swiftly even though I had forgotten to mention them beforehand and provided a discreet table, as requested. The food was delicious, it was nice and quiet when we arrived but busy and bustling by the time we left so had a great ambience. They even made me a delicious Christmas dinner. It was also very good value considering the venue and had Tom's signature throughout the dishes and venue. My favourite restaurant in London!"

"Great scotch eggs and great alcohol on tap. The staff are really friendly, including the kitchen staff; a chef popped out to explain the allergy information and then brought the food over, while reconfirming how it was made and what was in it. A member of the bar staff gave me a recommendation for one of the lagers and explained its origins. Very friendly place."

"It was not an ideal place for what was clearly a first date. the restaurant was empty, except the table of the couple and mine. when I waited for my dining room partner, it was impossible not to observe the abhorrent first date conversation that had taken place. both jumped to speak at the same time, and then a pregnant break would come. I said a spiritual prayer - please let them eat here well, I went to the restaurant on a very rainy Tuesday, when it seemed that nothing could be redeemed on the day. I looked around when I was waiting for my friend despite the lack of other diners there was a beautiful ambiente in the restaurant. there were big candles on each table that are for relaxed, flattering...read more"
