"The food was OK but nothing special. We both had mushroom soup which was “over engineered” with mushrooms, egg and nuts and served barely warm. Monkfish for a main was not very fresh and quite dry. The squid risotto was passable. What let’s the restaurant down totally is the service which was atrocious. We were ignored most of the time. It took them 2 hours to serve a 2 course meal with coffee. Overall very poor value for money. Definitely not returning despite staying in the hotel"
