"We went to La Carreta a few times and we usually enjoy it. The service can sometimes be concentrated with the staff to talk to each other instead of checking on their tables. Ordering my favorite thing is the Mahi-shrimp Ceviche, which is very good. They have bite large pieces of fish and shrimp with pieces cucumbers and mango marinated in lemon juice, so the acid cooks the seafood. It makes a light and refreshing meal. The rest of the food I have found to be a little hit or miss when the meat is dry and bland at times. In my opinion, it is your best Tex mex option in downtown."

"Pro's This wonderful restaurant offers food varieties from Greek and Lebanese delicacies which are famous from many centuries. Especially the bread and the spices they use are really so great that the taste of food gives a flavour of European and Middle-East countries great food. Paradise for Non-Vegetarians especially who want to eat varieties of lamb and beef meat. Very reasonable rates. Very friendly staff and adorable staff. Neutral No alcohol served. "Love their fajitas, chicken beef. The fried fish tacos are awesome. I also like the chicken quesadillas. The chips ranch dip is SO GOOD. Sometimes a line to get in, but worth waiting for. We usually eat there twice a week. We just can't help it, it draws us in. There's a new manager that is so helpful friendly. His name is Cam is Extremely NICE. We love all things TexMex. We've been going to Chuy's in Houston for years, so we were very excited to hear that Lafayette was going to have one. Our favorite waiter is B.J. He is very nice always goes above beyond his customer service to everyone. F.Y.I., if you get cold easy, bring a light sweater or jacket. Many people do this it's worth it, to get to eat there. They are not the only restaurant that keeps it COOL. If you haven't been there yet, give it a try, you will notice a big difference. Also, they make their own tortilla shells. They are tender fresh. You can watch them being made as you walk in."

"Great atmosphere. Pretty good selection of pub options with some nicer choices for steaks too. I did the brisket chili and it was awesome. We also got some tachos which might have been my favorite I have had anywhere. Highly recommend to stop in for a drink and dinner. Parking lot is a little strange, but you can always park at one of the misc spots downtown and walk over too."

"Just pulled here a year ago. Friday afternoon woman and I wanted pizza and a pitcher beer. I decided to check Deano's. Yeah, we'll do that, see you soon. Very good atmosphere, Danni our server was great, laughed and convoked with us about what was good. Pizza we picked up were fantastic, boneless wings w/ jalapeno diving sauce and cold beer. Great experience, made our day! We found our pizza place."
