"Wings are ok and the restaurant is smoke free but don't come here on a hot day because the air conditioning is sub par and this restaurant is HOT. Also very slow service due to the ultra small kitchen. You order will trickel out to you. They need to spend some money to get this place right or move. Ran out of Mountain Dew."

"Ordered takeout...chicken enchiladas, chicken burritos, fajitas sausage queso dip were all great! Beef burritos were a little garlicky, but had flavor. Prices are reasonable good portion sizes. Will definitely order again next time we're in Surfside."

"At Myrtle Beach on vacay, my wife and I were in the mood for Mexican (more Tex Mex) fare and Nacho Hippo looked interesting. As our custom, we went for early dinner. The place was packed! But we only had to wait about 15 minutes. Monica brought us menus, which we had already been looking over. My wife got the Sloppy Burrito with chicken. I decided to try their special Hipponachomus Nachos, personal size. We started off with Tortilla chips and Queso dip. I also asked for hot salsa, extra cost. Turned out to be Mango Habanero and a bit sweet. Didn't think I would like it but I did! Our food came and servings were huge. My wife loved her (usual) burrito. Our chips and dips were also great. My Nachos? Shazam! A huge pile of chips with Chili, Chicken, Taco Meat, two cheeses, lettuce and Pico de Gallo. It was really great. And so much I had to take a third back to resort. Many more cars arriving as we were leaving and headed to inside and outside seating. Food was great, service excellent, ambiance a bit noisy. The inside dining looked small in comparison with the huge buildings."
