"Stumbled across this little gem on a Monday night when lots of places in Porto seem to close. It’s only tiny, but the smell inside was incredible! The service was friendly and relaxed but food came quickly and was hot and fresh. Completely agree with the reviews about the Biryani- it’s amazing! Only gave it four stars as on the evening we went there wasn’t any lamb (a significant part of the menu), and they only take cash, but there isn’t anything to tell you this when you arrive. Overall an excellent Indian in Porto and would highly recommend."

"Well what an experience that was. Took about 40 minutes to receive two of our starters when they arrived they came with three of the mains as well. It then took another 30 minutes for remaining starter and main to arrive. No apology, nothing. Took another 30 minutes to get one desert served with two coffees . In the place for nearly three hours and we appeared to be served quicker than most. The amount of people that walked out was incredible. Very poorly run with no sign of management leading. Would not recommend or go back here, very very poor bland food as well."

"We stumbled into this restaurant by chance and were so glad we did. The food is inspired and the surroundings elegant yet comfortable. This is not a tourist joint; the dining area is in a hidden courtyard and there are no posted menus outside on the street. The service was attentive and helpful without being intrusive. The wine and ports recommended were delicious. The value is excellent for such a memorable meal of first quality; and less than expected. Highly recommended."
