"Not overly impressed about our dinner here last week. Waiter was friendly but there was just an air of 'it's a quiet week night, not many tables, so we'll see if we can get away with little effort'.<br>

I sometimes like to select my meal before I go to a restaurant, from their online menu, and had done so on this occasion. Only trouble is, it turns out that there are old versions of menus floating around so none of the dishes I had chosen were on the current menu. The Facebook menu is different to the Zomato menu, and neither were the same as what we were given on the night.<br>

The meals were quite sufficient in size, and my husband enjoyed his lamb. My chicken was advertised as being served with a basil salsa verde. If it was salsa verde, it was certainly not like any I've had had at restaurants before, or made myself. At a guess, I'd say it was a spoon of store-bought basil pesto.
