"Ended up at Rydges Southbank Grill after most of the desirable restaurants were fully booked (a Saturday night). Partner had very best spareribs we have come across outside of the USA. He ordered half rack. Nice large meaty ribs with a few deep fried onion rings (not health food). I had a pumpkin & feta salad. Quite nice - not exciting but good if not wanting a huge feed. Only downside was $8 for a side dish, so partner had only the ribs. Would definitely go back again for the ribs."

"There’s nothing snazzy about this place, but I’d recommend it for a simple, tasty lunch served by pleasant staff. My waitress was efficient, friendly and polite. My BLT was delicious. I ordered hot chips, which were fine, on the side. Lovely coffee though, confusingly, my “M” (for mug, the larger serving, as opposed to “C”, for a cup) was served in a glass. There is a courtyard, with tables and decent umbrellas, at the rear. A minor disappointment was the gravy which, though not flavourless, was too runny. That may be because it had to be made from scratch, but that’s no excuse."

"Absolutely disgusting service. Placed an order online with an expected 35min wait for two souvlakis. When i arrived i was told to return in 10minutes. I arrived after 5 mins and proceeded to wait patiently until half an hour passed. When i approached the counter,...at this point one hour after ordering, they told me it was my responsibility to come back up to the counter. Even though for the 30mins i sat there i was visually aggrevated and had made eye contact with the counter the same girl that told me to come back in 10) multiple times. When i questioned her about it she told me that she thought i was waiting for an order…. For half an hour. There online ordering service is counter intuitive. Do not recommend, will never return."
