"My family and I stayed at the on-site hostel for three nights. The first night we ate there despite not eating seafood/fish as we were tired from traveling. With each round, a couple different botanas were brought out. It actually was a perfect light supper with delicious food and excellent prices. Guest receive 15% off, which is likehaving the tip included.Trevor, his partner, and staff are doing a wonderful job with El Pulpo. It is a relaxed environment for families. When they add a non-seafood/fish item or two to the menu, it will be all the better."

"We enjoyed breakfast every day down in the courtyard while we stayed at Maria de la Luz. The buffet has the usual cold cereals, fruits, coffee and juices and features a chef prepared to cook your eggs or omelettes any way you may ask. Suggest you ask for meal vouchers when booking the hotel."

"We've had the occasion to have two afternoon meals, one breakfast, and late night snacks. The food and service has been excellent. Main courses, sandwiches, and breakfast were yummy. The rest rooms well looked after. The location right on the corner across from the Zocalo...is great for people watching. A romantic spot.We highly recommend this restaurant!"
