"Overall, the food was flavorless and lacking in quality. We ordered a couple of items — Marinated tofu soy pudding 豆腐脑 : 4/5. This was probably the best item we ordered, though we did ask for no pickled mustard and our request was ignored. You tiao: 3/5, pretty mediocre, wasn’t very fluffy. Congee: 2/5. Pretty lacking in flavor and was extremely watered down; there were very few pieces of rice in the congee. Also, 皮蛋瘦肉粥 implies there should both be preserved egg and meat in the congee; I only encountered a couple of small pieces of preserved egg white, and no meat. XLB/soup dumplings: 0/5. Probably the worst XLB I have ever had in my life. Trader Joe’s pork soup dumplings are better than this. Dumpling skin tasted doughy and raw, and was very thick yet ripped at the same time. Egg crepe with youtiao: 1.5/5, the ingredients were there, but super tasteless.Overall, definitely wish we went for dim sum instead at a different restaurant."

"Several people have recommended this place, so I finally made it the other day. It's located in the same shopping center as my dentist, so I thought this might be a nice treat after getting some dental work done. (disclaimer: I DO like my dentist--see my Yelp review for Arbor Dental!)This is a smallish store compared to 85° Bakery, but there are a good variety of sweet and savory pastries on offer.I selected the Almond Croissant, Nutella Chocolate Bolo, and a Cheese Tart.The croissant and bolo were made with a tender, buttery brioche-like dough, and the tart was reminiscent of the 85° Hokkaido tart that I like.I got a large iced green milk tea. it was flowery and delicious.The cakes look inviting and are beautifully decorated. Next time!"

"Everything you can want in a donut! Coming from a donutholic, these donuts were amazing! Really delicious doughnuts served up in a classy but modern small coffee bar style environment in the heart of Irvine. The texture was soft and chewy, and there was a good amount of filling in the center, which is extremely important! The Fruity Pebbles doughnut was really delicious but the maple glazed old fashioned was great if a little bit too sweet for my tastes. Reasonably priced doughnuts in a counter serve joint with friendly staff. My sweet tooth is going to be back for old fashion donuts not cake donuts."

"We just used TMC for our second event and I had to get on here to review them because I will never consider another catering company. They really outdid themselves and every detail was over the top and beyond what we expected.Our most recent event was a Mother's Day Brunch and the TMC team helped us curate the perfect menu. They happily answered all our questions about different food items, display, themes, flavor combos, etc.At the last minute, we had to make a few changes due to dietary restrictions and for no extra charge they added in dairy free yogurt parfaits with grain free granola and switched our donut flavor to be non- dairy as well! The homemade donuts are insanely good by the way!Some standout menu items were: the goat cheese pastry puffs--wow the perfect blend of sweet and savory. The homemade donuts (Dark chocolate and pistachio rose, holy cow). The gruyere quiche, the TMC flatbread, and the crudite hummus cups!!!They handle everything you need from set up, take down, flat ware, cute bamboo serve ware, and even have little menu item cards to display!Next I want to try one of their hot bars! Thanks again TMC!"

"This place has amazing cream puffs, alas a tad pricey. The rest of the offerings I'm sure are great, but their true strength lies in the cream puffs. If you want gelato, (super expensive) mochi, taiyaki, or any other sweet treat, you will also find it here. Also the cutesy KPop merch adds a different vibe to this place. "Top picks: Strawberry Cheesecake Danish Spicy Curry Donut.An absolute must whenever I 'm here. My boyfriend loves their strawberry cheesecake Danish pastries, but my recent favorites have been the Almond Danish and spicy curry donut. The curry packs some heat, which was surprising because I feel most spicy Japanese dishes are relatively mild for my taste buds.Other items that I like, but haven 't had a ton of repeats have been the custard pudding, bavarian chocolate, mixed fruit tart and red bean cream bun. It 's not because they weren 't good, but I had my eyes on the strawberry danishes. They always sell out if you come later in the day.However, I think I may try to venture out of my norm on my next visit."
