"It was like a step back in time. Places like these are hard to find anymore. It was like an old-time coffee shop diner with an identity crisis because when you come in, it's like a little bakery/market. Upon entering, the lady was kind and attentive. My breakfast sandwich was ready within 5 minutes. Make sure you ask for salt, pepper, and ketchup upon ordering because they will not ask you. The bread was RIDICULOUSLY soft and SOOOO freaking yummy! Probably THE BEST straight up breakfast sammy I've had in a long time! Prices were higher than I'm used to but I'll look past it because of the bread. I mean... REALLY so good! It melted in my mouth!"

"Ok. Let me start this off by saying, there is a strong recurring theme throughout these reviews involving poor hospitality , and bad communication . I too, shared this experience. Being a restaurant manager in NYC for 20 years before opening my own restaurant in Brooklyn, I am painfully aware of every detail of service, however, I always dampen my expectations of restaurants. I 've even become Ok with lackluster service. My friends, this experience went far and below any of my prior dining experiences. These people are downright mean and nasty. Let me explain: We came in at 650ish on a Saturday night completely expecting the place to be rocking. It was. However, we spotted two seats and the bar and said SCORE . My friend and I proceeded to sit, and for the first 25 mins, after receiving our Osetra caviar service, the bartender got us two very nice glasses of champagne on the house. Cheers! However, a minute later, the host comes over and says excuse me to my friend, trying to somehow push her chair out of the way to squeeze two bar patrons into a tiny sliver shoved in the corner, barely big enough for one person to sit. If they had sat, everytime the person needed to get up, we all would have had to get up (mind you, we ordered several courses of food). There simply was no room for bodies there. We tried explaining that to the host, but they went above and beyond to make us look and feel like a problem. This happened two more times over the next 20 minutes. The hostess began to yell at me, speak over me, and behave in an erratic and unprofessional manner. Wow. At this point we asked for the remainder of our meal wrapped to go. The bartender asked if we were ok, and after explaining EVERYTHING to him, we saw neither him, a manager, or anyone else for the next 20 minutes. Even after trying to flag people down for a check. We just wanted to get OUT. We finally got the check, paid and left. Everyone around us knew what was happening and how rude the host staff were to my guest and I. Not one manager came over to check in with us throughout all of this. This establishment clearly lacks managerial presence or real care for its patrons. Go ahead, read the other reviews."

"Went through the drive thru and asked for the egg bites, the girl told me we aren 't doing any food today because there are only two of us here . Okay, I get that, but every single time I 've been here there 's some reason they are refusing to make food?Weird. So I ordered a small cold brew with cold foam. I get to the window and they charge me $6. I asked why a small coffee isthat expensive and another girl came to the window and realized I had been charged for the egg bites that I was not going to begiven. The first girl says well it 's just two dollars, it 's not that serious . She was very nasty even when the second girltold her it actually IS serious because that 's my money and I 'm being over charged. After all that, my coffee was still wrongand gross."
