"So we came the other day and didn't have a great experience. I wrote a review, it wasn't a particularly great review. The gm himself reached out personally and made himself available to help make our next experience one to remember. It was a fantastic night. I cannot recommend under the sun enough. We were here in town for a funeral of a family member, and made reservations for our reception. It was wonderful. The perfect way to cap off a rough weekend. I can't thank everyone enough here at under the sun enough. The service was excellent, even for those in our party who have food allergies. The food was incredible and obviously the beer was fantastic. I must give a personal thank you to the servers working our party, especially the one lady working our party, I didn't catch her name but she was great. As a server/bartender myself it was refreshing. She helped me try some different beers that were great as well as offering me one beer, with the bartenders permission of course, that is not yet on the menu. A beautiful ipa, with lovely citrus notes to start with a subtle smooth vanilla finish. The McQuerry family cannot thank the crew of Under the sun enough. Thank you Ethan"

"Great place. Great atmosphere. They take reservations but seated us no problem without one. The raw oysters were amazing. A bit pricey but so fresh they made up for it, and a large variety of oysters to choose from. The crab legs were great. Again, a large variety to choose from. The Manhattan was perfect! Well worth the stop, plus it is on Pearl Street which is always a treat."

"Upon entering we were greeted with wonderful customer service. We were asked if we had any questions regarding the drink menu. Of course we did, dairy substitutions and such. The lady that rang us up was new, but her trainer was right there answering everything and helping her. We opted for Hollyhock refresher, Lavender Tea Latte, and a Lemonade. Everything hit the spot and was wonderfully made. As we strolled around the store we met the owner and he told us some stories about the store and some items that have procured. Everyone was just really friendly. We never felt rushed at all. There are couches and small table arrangements for you to sit at to just chill and relax. My highlight was that 1928 Desoto. You don't get to see one of those everyday and truly not up close and personal. Would thoroughly recommend pricing is reasonable. And it adds to the Downtown Flair of Boulder City."

"The tomato havarti bread pudding's portion was quite large my roommate and I shared it and both LOVED it. It had a soft, doughy, dense inside with a concoction of herbal flavors (basil, oregano, probably more but am unsure) and a crispy cheesy crust. The savory flavor was lightened by the slightly sour tomatoes. Love! Don't let the questionable blue gray hue of the blue corn cookie deter you from ordering this is one of my favorite cookies I've ever had. With a sprinkling of white sugar on top, it's the perfect combination of salty, sweet, and savory, all along with a great chewy texture. Mudslide cookie is a chocolate lava cake in cookie form ooey and fudgy center encased in a flaky crisp outside. Strawberry cupcake was decent, although I was disappointed that the cake itself was not strawberry flavored but vanilla. Strawberry frosting was silky, fresh, and fragrant. The vanilla cake was not moist and in fact quite dry and crumbly. I would buy this frosting by the tub! But I would not buy this cupcake again. Coconut cupcake enticed me through the shop window with its' beautiful meringue swirl. Like the strawberry cupcake, however, was too dry and crumbly for me. I would not buy cupcakes here again."
