"Service was substandard except one asian guy who was carrying the weight of the shop by himself.The owner/FOH busy mingling with one of their own guests totally disregarding the fact that people coming in are waiting to br seated.Empty food trays does not usually equal customers going home without food but the restaurant eventually being empty of customers. Being in the same industry myself, I can confidently say everytime one of my staff makes a mistake that is overcomed by the examplry service that we take pride in.The food itself is very average. From overcooked Goat to burnt coconut rice to overcooked chicken tandoori. The shining star for me was the mushroom Dish.And this is very important for the owners that you need to get your washroom stall fixed in the men's. If I can look inside the stall while some one is taking a dump it means that the gap is too wide.We came in excepting a lot owing to your stellar google rating from over 1000 reviews."

"Unreal food and experience. Our server was funny and personable. We loved the fried green tomatoes and the hush puppies were amazing! My husband was dying over the whisky menu. We left super happy and excited to return!"

"My daughter and I decided to visit this restaurant before going out for the evening. The food was delcious, service was great, waiter was excellent. Good atmosphere. The place was a little loud and I was a bit chilly. We had a window table which was nice. Portions are excellent. I would return to this restaurant."

"One of me goes over the years to Chinese places. this place has such a big menu, no matter what you're asking. some of my dishes are seafood laksa, bark brisket curry, and salt and pfeffersquid (growing part for the price compared to other places of the city.) eating comes fast and and and."

"A truly iconic Edmonton spot for Chinese food. Double Greeting is a Hong Kong style cafe/restaurant with a huge Cantonese menu. It's a bit of a hole-in-wall type of place but provides excellent food at a good price. I've been going here for over 30 years and the food is always excellent. Service is pretty good, you just write the number of the menu items that you want on the order form provided and hand it to one of the staff. Don't be shy about flagging one of the ladies down to give them your order. The lunch hour can be quite busy. When you get your bill, you go up to the front counter to pay. There is limited free parking around the building but lots of pay street parking is available. Some of my favourite items are; beef chow fan, beef brisket chow mein, chicken and salty fish fried rice, ginger beef and the rice roll with long donut. FYI, cash only but there is an ATM on-site."

"The staff is dressed in lululemon pants. Never asks how the food is. The tables are dirty. They were arguing with me over the card I received at another location. Donuts were overcooked and not enough sugarcoated. Going here only because it's close to work. South Common location is still our favorite."
