"Today this place does not disappoint! Very polite and helpful with the donut selection. Maple bacon is my personal favorite. My husband enjoyed the chocolate bacon. Highly recommend this business! Great customer service! Great prices and delicious smell! 3 years ago This place is amazing! It beats duck donuts hands down. They even have a gluten free option which is rare for donuts. We tried all kinds of them, the strawberry shortcake has actual strawberries. The coconut vanilla has tons of coconut. I definitely recommend this place!!! There is even a picnic table that can hold 8 people outside....only 1, but it was open and we enjoyed it. Right near the boardwalk"

"I have been a fan of Duck Donuts since there was only a single location. The donuts have changed a little, but the experience has changed a lot! Not a quaint, small town outing anymore. I really hope they turn off on-line ordering during the summer months because no one likes waiting in line for 20 minutes only to have an on-line order for 2 dozen donuts cut in front of you! I refuse to go to any of the franchise locations; I save the experience for vacations at OBX."
