"I found a great sandwich and 2 donuts. the place is a little packed on a Saturday, but they can always stay outside. there are tons of bank and tables. they will run in a cheese factory, a metzgerei and fresh vegetables. everyone is friendly and filled with life. great place to get a quick bite."

"My daughter and I stopped by Winchell the other day because if you grew up on their donuts you know the quality is one of a kind. The Winchell is always clean this experience was a 10 plus the gentlemen that help us was very friendly and made me smile and laugh all at the same time. He had a lot of patience we us it's always a hard job to pick from the yummy selection. We finally pick our donuts and he keep that smile and great humor throughout the whole transaction. Love great customer service when you find it we should always share with others.Many hat tips on this purchase of donuts and yes are divine as only Winchell taste super yummy"

"(I wrote this review to a friend who asked me to let her know how I liked them.... Here it is)So, we went. I didn't go in because I'm feeling a little icky AND I don't really care for donuts anyway. The girls went in and got their free donut and ordered three more. They were smaller than I expected for a specialty shop, but the price matched the size, so I wasn't mad. I would've ordered a dozen if I had gone in instead. The girls really enjoyed their little donuts and brought their brother one. I guess it was good... Who knows with boys...I tasted the glazed one. I will say this.... Yes, it was good. It is definitely a destination spot, though. Unfortunately for them, I don't think there's enough people eating donuts everyday in Lancaster. They are not the kind you can take home and nuke for 10 seconds to taste the same. They are cake-like and good when they are fresh. So, the girls said (again, I didn't go in), there is coffee available. If I were them, I'd extend my coffee menu, and promote that more."
