"Frog cakes and leamingtons! Two beautiful cakes, delicacy to south Australia and if you want to try it,straight out here. The frog cakes are nice and moist and the leamingtons creamy and coconutty. Wonderful pastries."

"We dined at this hotel last week with some friends and family.. it was a Saturday night and the place was a buzz. The drink service was attentive for a smorgasbord restaurant, other similar places you have to get your own. Good selection of tasty food. My favourite was the hot baked leg ham.. good selection of seafood also. Our kids tucked into the hot donuts and ice cream. Wow.. I remember doing that when my parents took me here.. Great to see places like this still going strong.. overall, great value at $30. Attentive friendly staff, in comfortable surroundings."

"My family ordered the most delicious birthday cake for me a few years ago from Cherry Darlings, so I've been meaning to check them out for a while now. <br/ <br/ I'd highly recommend the Lentil Pot Pie if you are a bit fussy with mock meats and don't want to risk it. So delicious and all pies are large! They have a large selection of desserts, too. I spotted some iced and also some cinnamon donuts but sadly had to resist this time! <br/ <br/ Possibly the friendliest staff in Adelaide, too. Finding a park was a bit hard, but I just parked down a side street and walked. Worth it! Will definitely be back."
