"Don 't get me wrong, there was absolutely nothing 'wrong ', hence the 5* rating. This is actually quite a difficult review to write gor exactly that reason, but I 'll try to explain. All the staff were professional and competent without ever feeling warm or friendly (the cheese man excepted, he had true passionfor his art! ; the food was extremely competently executed with ever once wowing us. The atmosphere was a little stuffy for my taste, but not unpleasant. The only think that truly irked me was having to view the menu through a QR code, which seemed extremely cheap for somewhere with a star, but to be honest we got over that quite quickly so it wasn 't a big deal. Overall, it was absolutely fine. But for a michelin star restaurant in a chateau, we sort of expected a bit better than fine. Maybe that 's on us. Make your own mind up."
