"I placed an order at the drive through well after the dinner rush. Only cars in the parking lot, cars ahead of me in line, I placed a basic order, trio and other items. Upon pulling up to the window, I...was informed item was not available as the restaurant had run out. No problem, I asked that it be removed from the order. I was still made to pay the whole amount for the order, which I paid by debit, and was reimbursed an undetermined sum in cash. I received my drink. The cashier then was informed the item was indeed available and handed me a bag. I offered to pay for the now available item but was informed all was ok. I failed to look in the bag, assuming my order was complete. I drove home, minutes away from the restaurant. Upon arriving home, I realized I was missing half my order. I contacted the restaurant and admit I was frustrated. I asked to speak with a manager who was not available. I explained the situation to the person who answered the phone, who ultimately found the owner but failed to explain any of what had already been relayed. I explained the situation to the owner who was not listening and trying to make excuses for his lack of staff that evening. His only resolution was for me to return to his store to either obtain the rest of my order or be reimbursed the value of the items not provided. He was condescending throughout our interaction. Check your order carefully. Better yet, there are many other options in the near vicinity. Patronize one of them and save yourselves the hassle."
