"Shady acres is always a pleasant stop for us when we travel to Jackson. I will usually restock on my homemade jellies and get fruit for the trip. The place has come back from a fire and it's people there are good friendly people. There is a lunch served daily, reasonably priced and good eating. I would recommend at least stopping in once and I think you will be back again and again. There are jellies, preserves, butters, salsas, BBQ sauces, syrups, molasses, seasonal fresh fruit, and plenty of candies and snacks. There is also a room with craft and signs and touristy stuff, candles and gag items. And more. I would suggest you stop by. I don't think you'll be disappointed."

"Was open and was in need. insulin was quickly needed, they left me there restroom to take my medicine, and after I came out, they gave me a water-charged nothing. they saved my day. many thanks . eating looked fantastic and the place was super clean. recommended 100"

"I stopped in around 11:30-12:00. I ordered a French Dip sandwich and fries. I got home and put the food on a plate. The bun was hard and the fries were cold. There was hardly any meat on the sandwich. Very disappointed. Not worth $17. Won’t be going back. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2"

"Terrible! I took my grandkids and the service was super slow. The food was cold. My eggs were over cooked and when the server brought me new ones they were undercooked. The gravy was so salty I couldn 't eat it. The manager offered to re cook the entire meal. My grandkids were so hungry they ate what they could and we left. The manager comped the meal. As we were leaving another patron stopped me and said "don 't feel bad for complaining. We have had that server before. She is terrible . I don 't know why she 's still here..... More.... Last time I will go to Village Inn."

"The Texas toast was soggy due to being placed on the liquid from the pot roast. It tasted okay but it is slowly going downhill on how it prepared and bagged. I have ordered this so many times and there is no consistency on what to expect."

"Me and my wife were visiting Colombia did a quick google search for a breakfast place J J's had a 4.3 rating that was so under rated should be a 10+ stars waitstaff made some great suggestions food came out super fast and the food had not been siting for under a heat lamp real eggs like mom makes not out of a carton the biscuits were out of this world my wife loved the homemade cinnamon roll so good we had to get one to go I wish I could remember our waitress's name she was just great knew the menu could make some good suggestion awesome costumer service so rare in today world"

"Seemed like a nice spot to relax after walking Blink, the door guy was rude about a blink cup I had but had just let my friend in with the same blink cup, these cups were empty. Maybe choose more polite staff for the front of the bar, and hold everyone to the same rules. When you walk in the music was way to loud, holding a convo was difficult which made us want to sit outside. Staff never came to greet us at any table we choose while we were inside and then when we moved outside, so we left. Next time I'm visiting Cincy I wouldn't waste my time or money here."
