"Myself and my adult daughter visited for her birthday lunch. She had half a rotisserie chicken with sage onion seasoned chips, corn and chicken gravy. It was well cooked and good quality. I chose two tapas starters as suggested on menu, 4 for two people. I chose chicken tenders in breadcrumbs which was quite tasty with a dip and halloumi fries which comes with a green sauce dip, there was no dip and server explained they’ve run out of all sauces. Fair enough deliveries are broken down everywhere. But no alternative was on offer. The halloumi fries were very overcooked(had them before here so know how they should be cooked) almost going past dark golden brown to burnt. They didn’t taste good and kind of dusty and cheese was so rubbery and dry I ate it only cause I was starving. I was told I’m not entitled to salad as it’s two tapas starters. That’s nuts as my meal was more expensive than some of the ‘mains’ that are entitled to salad. Turns out my daughter didn’t want salad so gave me hers. Sorry but mine was revolting and dry, very over cooked and the thought of eating today yuck. It was my daughters birthday so I wasn’t wanting to make a fuss. That shouldn’t have been sent out. Still gave our server a tip as it wasn’t her fault. Would I recommend? Yes if you are lucky and catch the chef on a good day as I have before!"
