"Really nice little cafe with excellent cappuccinos and friendly staff. Very nicely done up upstairs seating we would happily have lingered there had we not had other plans. A great change from the usual chains."

"We were here on 3pm Saturday. It took like 10 mins and some waiving and gesturing before we were finally seated and another 15 mins before we were able to finally order our food. We waited for our food 35 mins and the meals weren't served at the same time. The beer was not chilled. The rhubarb Margherita was nice, although the pitcher had lots of ice cubes and not so much liquid. The chicken bowl and the burrito were fine. The steak and chicken that came with the fajita were pretty dry. The chocolate cake was rather dry. The cheesecake however was fantastic. Overall not a great experience. Just too slow and sluggish."

"The restaurant 'lost ' our booking and tried to palm us off with an inferior table despite my advance request for one with a view. To be fair, every effort was made to solve the problem once I made it clear that I wasn 't just making a noise to get a better table. Unfortunately, though, the overall standard of service at the hotel restaurants remains utterly unacceptable."

"Booked on late notice but they were very accommodating for myself and my partner. Service was excellent and did not rush us to finish our meal at all like we have experienced before in other restaurants."

"I was twice in the afternoon tee at the hotel miramar, as I was really impressed after my first visit. the first time we could sit outside, with a view of the sea, which was beautiful and even on my second visit we could sit in the drawing hall next to the window with a view of the sea. the food was both tasty, with a good selection of sandwiches and cakes/sweet tasty. the staff was also very friendly and able to deal with our requests. also very good value for money compared to other places that offer the afternoon before location."
