"Usual high standards of food. The service was however very poor, had to chase waitress to take orders for drinks, mains and deserts. Still one of a favourite places but let down this time by the service and awful table by the back door which was freezing."

"I had not planned my breakfast route for oxford when I went out paddington from the train. a bit of research on the way led me to vaults garden, with its mouth-water, traditional breakfast menu. I am very glad that I have chosen to eat here. Whether they decide to take a look at the sacred Mary of the Virgin Church in the open, or to immerse themselves in the Congregation House (built in the 1320s), for a historical immersion, they are sure that they have an excellent culinary experience. my vegetarian breakfast order landed arrived pissing hot and fresh from the kitchen. the protein-packed-Medley contain fai organic eggs (serves scrambled, much to the nostalgia of my American palate), dark spinat boiled to damp, juicy-ripe tomato, large slices of sauteed mushrooms, savory-sweet-beans and crispy-brown toast. best enjoyed with small bites of every food, in no particular order, I left satisfied and energetic for the long day of tourism before. I just wish I had gone back to try her lunch menu! if you want to visit the bodleian library, the oxford university or the st. mary’s cathedral, this is a delicious, affordable option. the food will satisfy her likes and the stunning intention will feed her soul."
