"Had one with my friend for a pre-Xmas drink and quickly bite to eat in the phoenix. that is a gastropub near the bank station. we've let ourselves in for a little sauvignon blanc. in order to soak the alcohol, we have both decided for the double squid salad. <br/>The squid was dressed with tasty teriyaki and sesame, I must say everyone was delightful. we ordered a side of chips and they were perfectly fried. <br/>Service was also fast and friendly. my only reservation is that it will be super busy too day and because we are there shortly before day, we have our orders really fast. if we had arrived after the afternoon, the waiting time for the food would have been longer. <br/>Overall the Squid salad was delicious and really complimented the savignon blanc. I would recommend this gastropub for a quick bite without having to eat, but excellent service and quality of the food."

"Right alcohol. Not many of them have remained in London. Great atmosphere, the Warwick Castle Pale Ale is a big drop, and they actually do a very decent selection of pub-grub clips. Wild Boar sausages and mash were delicious. Recommended."
