"When we first entered the restaurant, the hostess was extremely rude, asked to see a menu we were ignored. When we were finally able to order she got extra crabby. Well we waited for our food then left and no utensils to eat no napkins and we ordered general Tahoe chicken and we got sesame chicken."

"Order online is painful! The people who take your order are in another place and are not familiar with the menu at all. Take forever. I have an order for three standard dishes for 20 minutes. And often the commands are wrong because they are not familiar with the menu. Change property, please."

"I ordered the luncheon Scallops. It was $13.95 but came with a cup of soup, fried rice and an egg roll. Everything was delicious. If you want a pot of tea its $3 extra but was delicious. All worth it."

"I had dinner here last week and ordered a plate of chicken with broccoli and snow peas, along with a side of white rice. I really enjoyed my meal. My co-worker ordered a noodle dish (I don't remember exactly what kind). She said hers was very good. I liked the cozy and casual atmosphere of this place. It was fairly busy, but we were not rushed at all to finish our meal. If I'm ever out this way again, I'll definitely be back for lunch or dinner."

"We booked a table. Arrived with my friend where 2 hostesses and a security guard looked at us from head to toe. Barely said hello to us and god know we have manners. Eventually she took us to our table and said a server will come asap. 10 mins later no server to be seen but to their defense it was busy. Now that’s obviously all preference based but the whole restaurant is pretty much in the dark with some neon lights so don’t expect to see what’s on your plate. Also it’s so loud there with a dj blasting music. Again if that’s the vibe you after then it’s fun. Hostess was really not friendly and tried to ignore us when called for help on our bill. Our server was actually super sweet, knowledgeable and prompt. We really appreciated him. Food was actually good! Very tasty, subtle, fresh. One of our dish (peppers) was undercooked so we didn’t eat it and our server offered to take it off the bill which was appreciated. Also our water glasses smelt like bleach. Rough. Overall we won’t be back there as most of the staff didn’t create a good energy and it’s way too dark and too loud for our taste. Overall vibe: 4/10 Food: 8/10"

"Everytime we dine at Doraku we have a good time. The menu is diverse with unusual treats. The vegetarian sushi is great. The green tea is also quite good. I highly recommend. You can sit outside, just off the heart of Lincoln Road and relax. Cars park close by but usually not a problem. Wait staff is always great. Perfect location to take a walk afterward."

"I have it 5 begins as tasting in terms of Asian buffet joints. I grew up with amazing homemade Chinese / Southeast Asian food. So I'm always sceptical about buffets like this. In fact, all buffets leave something to be desired. I was surprised. From coffee to dishes at the buffet bar everything was delicious. I highly recommend eating here. According to other reviews, I guess it's hit or miss. I follow some big poly-boys, regulars. You like the place."
