"If you’ve ever had pastrami in NYC, lower your expectations before entering this establishment! The pastrami was bland and tough, and excessively fatty. Things you should know: One sandwich and a small order of fries is an ample lunch for two average adults; the sandwiches automatically come with mustard and pickles on them, so if you don’t want that you should order accordingly. My wife and I always enjoy checking out historic restaurants, and “The Hat” definitely has history. But I can’t say I’d return, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who has previously enjoyed really good pastrami."

"A little nostalgia, grew up with pastrami sandwich and chiliries from the Alhambra shop, but this was closer so decided to have a sandwich for lunch. Man, these pastrami sandwiches don't disappoint anymore, but unfortunately no more room for chili-cats, maybe next time!"

"Unfortunately, the pommes were ancient, apparently affected by freezing fire before warming up and thus only for the dog delicious. also the meat had been in the tk for some time and smelled of old meat. requires a little more and makes it fresher."
