"Incredible sushi near stadium chinatown station.We had the yum yum crunchy roll, which is avocado, yam tempura, cream cheese with some sweet soy sauce and crispy yam tempura sprinkled on top and it was one of the best vegetarian special rolls I've had in my life.They also serve hot green tea before your meal, and have a nice selection of Japanese beer and soju.Try them out!"

"I arrived at the weekend shopping during the black Friday after I worked an appetite from shopping, I decided to choose something that was closest to me what is Sushi Bang. I gave him an attempt without expectations as I starved at this point. It was terrible for the overpriced food. Fish was not fresh, Tempura was soggy and Udon was Blande. I couldn't even finish it even if I was hungry."

"I ordered the yakisoba, the salmon roll, and a piece of spicy tuna nigiri. All of it was amazing, as was the service! I can't believe I don't come here more often! The menu has a lot of good sounding options on it, and beers are only $4.50. I wanted to take pics, but I hate doing that... I recommend this place!"

"The seared salmon belly and tuna belly here are the best! They’re torched perfectly and the fish just melts in your mouth. The special rolls are also all excellent and my personal favourite is the Volcano Roll. It’s a must try for spicy roll lovers!"

"Yummy good food and good service makes a good time woohoo thanks to Sushi Nanaimo and it’s easy to get to even by transit or walking if you’re in east Van. Staff is friendly and helpful and fast service it was my first time there and I don’t eat sushi but my kids do, they have yummy teriyaki chicken that’s what I get instead of sushi and it’s so yummy they have something for everyone. Thank you sushi Nanaimo we’ll definitely be back"

"When I saw a photo of their sushi donut, I wanted try it for lunch. The restaurant was very small, right across from winners, but I have never noticed it before I decided to come here. Today, I ordered the sushi doughnut (salmon on fire), Snow White roll, and air fried prawn tempura for takeout. The sushi rice was perfectly cooked and the ingredients were all very fresh with perfect flavoring. The air fried prawns which I thought would be healthier than the deep fried version, but the batter outside wasn’t light or crispy. It might be just cold by the time I got around to eating it. I might come back to try their other items."
