"We had lunch at Le San Remo, to break a journey from further south, on our way to the ferry at Dieppe. There is a free car park nearby. But more importantly, the pizzas here are as close to perfection as I have ever had. And the staff are very pleasant, and the prices are good value. I would happily eat here again."

"A city centre restaurant with both indoor and sheltered outdoor seating. There is an extensive a la carte and set meal option menu catering for a wide range of requirements with a big range of drinks served at reasonable prices. The staff are friendly,helpful and speak good English. We had one of the set meal options, the food was really excellent. We enjoyed our meal here and would certainly return when next time in Alencon. I certainly recommend this restaurant."

"We selected this restaurant based on reviews by TripAdvisor. The place has a premium appearance and matching service, really very good and enjoyable. The food did not keep up with this. The starter was reasonable, though not surprising in any way. The main course truly...failed to deliver on expectation. The fish appeared not fresh and rather dry. The pea paste was dead, dry and nearly tasteless. Maybe the chef was away on holiday and this was just a bad exception. Wine on the other hand was very good and the price is very moderate for a place like this. We give out of for the overall experience regardless of the disappointing food."

"Dropped in to have a reasonably priced family lunch, having eaten a few times at other Flunches. On the upside, it was clean. On the downside, we spent more time standing around waiting for food to be cooked and coffee to be made (having already paid for both) than we spent sitting down and eating. Our cooked meals were all ready at different times (the quickest was 10 minutes, the slowest 25 - which then had to go back again as the 'well-cooked' steak hache was still raw inside), the veg on offer was pitiful (no frites, but we could have waited another 10 minutes for some more; no mashed potato), so we loaded up on French beans and courgette.Having already paid for coffees, I expected to use a token to access the machine, but no - I had to queue up again to get the coffees. After 10 minutes of waiting, I asked how much longer I would have to wait at which point the coffees were poured - after a few more minutes I enquired if they might be ours. Oh, yes, so they were.The strange thing was that it wasn't busy, just incredibly thinly staffed.The quality of the food was okay. The availability of the veg was poor. The overall experience was very disappointing.Pas encore, merci beaucoup."
