"History: this evening we wanted to get a certificate in the town part idar in the brewhouse s. my criticism from 25.05.15. arrived there was the actually expected question: why not eat here at night? this was done quickly. after the opening euphoria, the personal no longer seems to be so much worth putting on ease, or we had caught a bad day. so: a good note, no beer drunk and from the parking lot. there is adjacent to the china restaurant “Jade” before dynasty . here we were not yet. the Asian cuisine we like. so: plan b plan c would have been eating in the etablissement “PetraIO” and from the 1st og not suitable for disabled . service: at about 19.00 o'clock we entered the restaurant and looked around after a table. the service lady came up against and showed without doubt on table 7 felt 40 tables were still free . bad was the place not, so we took place. asian german the question: “You want buffet?”. look at the neat looking buffet, why not? so we decided to have buffet. I decided to cook for garnel, inkfish and green-shaled mussels, soy sprouts, morels and broccoli. my man chose a similar combination. teriyaki was fresh and good. my co critic was still in vain. here you can decompose calorie or must have an ice pick in the baggage. pre-taste on the winter: the ice is so cold, there is only ice scratches. another gastronomic approach was more massive: whether the entire arm with pulli is in the power use in the truhe appetizing and hygienic? cleanliness and ambiente: well maintained and cleanly covered tables. toilets clean, well ventilated, some renovation could not hurt. teller arranged for self-service in the waden area of the guests below the buffet – not so great. there are also nice free air places on the surrounding outside terrace in the 1 og asian, non-overcharged, ambiente. Conclusion: we have eaten, but do not need repetition. better Asian eating is served in the wok snacks in idar and top hot on the dish. for price performance but ok."

"Bis zum lautstarken Streit zweier Kellnerinnen überlegten wir, ob wir 4 oder 5 Punkte verteilen. Das Essen war hervorragend; es ist dementsprechend teuer aber durchaus sein Geld wert. Unsere Kellnerin war sehr aufmerksam und sympathisch zu uns; der Streit mit ihrer Kollegin allerdings hat das Vergnügen hier zu essen etwas getrübt."

"I didn't eat at the serhat grill yesterday for the first time, actually I eat the week and must say the döner is lonely tip. also the dönerteller is highly recommended, but rather for those who are very hungry, because this is very large and I hardly pack the little one. Turkish pizza and normal pizza can also be ordered and taste both very good. the Turkish pizza is filled like a döner and is rolled up so almost a roll döner only the teig is still different. the normal pizza is available in various designs and can also be individually compiled, here the dönerpizza is an in-house speciality. vegetarians also come to their costs that are lower in vegetarian menus. also can be ordered salat and some more feed, such as chicken nuggets, chickenburger, carving etc. drinks are alcoholic and non-alcoholic from Turkish limonade to cola to rakki and beer. the dönerladen makes a clean impression and the staff are very friendly. all in all a very good load. the delivery service is very cheap, in a circle of 6km free and further away 2, euro. so far I have max. 30min waited until the food was there when I ordered. the food can of course also be taken as in any dönerladen. parking is not many behind the house 4 and 2 on the front. have also seen that the ones have a web page: [here link] there is at the first fly everything that they offer."

"Brittas Pancake House is certainly in Idar Oberstein for 10 years in a very beautiful house in Idar district on the pedestrian zone. A few years ago we started a visit to Idar Pancake Paradise. After spending a long time unnoticed at the table, we looked for the breadth. At the end of the year we were on the way to Idar in the late evening, a lunch break was not planned. But welcome! 2nd chance for the pancake house. We were kindly welcomed, our vaccination status was checked, then we were allowed to choose a free table. Three tables were already occupied. The advantage of the corner house: there are almost only windows. Of course we set ourselves on the window. The laminated menu was served. The offer includes breakfast, hearty and sweet pancakes, soups, salads and spaghetti. We had a quick choice. A lady, whether owner or employee I can't say, accepted our wishes. Our drinks: 1 alcohol-free Kirner Pils, 0.33 l € 2,70 and 1 alcohol-free Kirner Wheat, 0.5 l € 3,90. My husband chose: roasts with salmon, salad and fine cream horseradish sauce € 14.50 I chose: salad by type of house mixed salad with tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, carrots, fried chicken strips (exchanged in tuna), sunflower seeds € 10.90. The restaurant is well maintained and comfortably furnished. The huge windows on 2 sides leave a lot of light inside. We were quickly supplied with our drinks. It took a while with the courts. Then the cook itself served the dishes. Both plates were nicely dressed, the portions were not small. My husband was happy with his choice. However, the fry should have stayed a little longer in the pan. Rösti with salmon, salad and fine cream horse Only on the outside was a little chess, inside soft and therefore also quite fat. And unfortunately, the roasted vinegar was not produced itself. The fresh salad set comes with tomatoes and egg yolk. My salad was a main dish very worthy and with lots of tuna. Fresh green and red oak leaf salad, coarse cucumber slices and tomato quarters, carrot rasp and a delicious dressing. The air was on the bread supplement. Toast, good. We were really happy about our spontaneous decision to eat lunch here. The calm and cosiness has been terminated. One of the two ladies in service took the ladder out. Then it started eliminating the Christmas decoration! Only where there were no guests, but then right next to the guests' tables. Folding ladder, up to the ladder to remove the Christmas decoration from the ceiling and window. A gentleman looked irritated by us, but at least ended the food. Of course, our table was not cut out. Right behind my husband the ladder was opened again and the decoration was removed via the entrance door. I didn't see any dust, but after a few weeks of Christmas, dust would have fallen. And I didn't want it on our plates. The provocative remark. “Do you let me know if we disturb you?” I didn't want to clog. That happened. The lady moved to a table and two young women sat here. What happened? Clear: folding ladder on etc. For a demand whether everything should be met with us or whether a drink is desired (my glass was empty), the time was missing. The last half of our food is halfway. Pay quickly and nix as away. During the opening hours and with the guests present to organize such a breeding action, is simply perfect. As far as anyone active in gastronomy can think. The service was okay until our food was served. Conclusion: Not so fast. Probably, but never again."
