"Where in the lunch break and still delicious? The “Trattoria Calabria” in the Overwegstraße in Letmathe – a road above the height and on the map north of the pedestrian zone Hagener Straße is recommended. So it goes into the car, a few corners and right next to the Trattoria are lateral parking. In front of the Trattoria, on the outer surface, there are some seating groups on this small but not inanimate road, on this sunny day, only separated by narrow planting containers. The Vinaigrette I chose as dressing is probably made by myself and by refreshing acidity over really fresh salad. If you want to know how it tastes: we were used here again on the following day and then the delivery service on two days – the small pizza with 24cm looks quite small despite or because of thick earth, which even tastes good to me as thin subjects, but more than saturating the 29cm medium size, is almost too big everything was always very tasty for an exception – I had ordered Spaghetti Calabria that were very generous After a kitchen trip, this would be a 4 – 5 points rating."

"Im historischen Fabrikdorf "Maste-Barendorf" gelegen, lädt dieses Café den Wanderer, Radfahrer (nebenan verläuft der Radweg von Iserlohn zur Ruhr) zum Verweilen ein. Eine große Wiese nebenan bietet genügend Platz zum Spielen für die Kinder. Die Küche ist einfach, aber gut und nicht zu teuer. Der Biergarten ist, besonders im Sommer, spitze."

"Es ist fast ein wenig schade, wie wenig hier los ist. Ich war hier nun bereits mehrfach, und war jedes Mal begeistert, wie gut es geschmeckt hat. Ab und an "vergisst" die Bedienung zwar wegen Getränken zu fragen, aber das liegt sicher daran, dass meist nicht viel los war, wenn ich dort war. Dies finde ich sehr schade, denn Das Essen ist nicht nur gut, sondern das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist für meinen Geschmack recht gut. Kann ich nur empfehlen!"

"Wir waren an einem Samstagabend nach vorheriger telef. Bestellung dort und bekamen einen kleinen Tisch in der Nähe der offenen Küche. Die Begrüßung war freundlich. Die Speisekarte wurde kurz darauf gereicht, bestellte Getränke (Mineralwasser und Aperitif) kamen zügig. Auch der Chef kam persönlich vorbei und begrüßte uns sowie die Gäste an den Nachbartischen. Eine Tafel mit Tagesgerichten wurde uns gezeigt und schließlich nahm der Chef unsere Bestellung auf. Rindercarpaccio und Vitello Tonnato sowie jeweils Fisch als Hauptgericht. Dazu eine Flasche Lugana Santa Cristina. Alle Speisen haben uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Essen selbst gab überhaupt keinen Anlass zur Kritik. Allerdings gab es zwei andere Punkte, die etwas denkwürdig waren: Eine weibliche Bedienung brachte uns die Flasche Wein, entkorkte diese fachmännisch mit einem Kellnermesser und schnupperte noch in Sommelier-Manier am Korken. Als sie dann beide Gläser voll einschenkte, ohne uns vorher probieren zu lassen, gab ich meinen Unmut darüber kund und musste mir folgende Begründung anhören: "Mir wurde gesagt, dass Sie eine Flasche wollten." Ich war fast sprachlos über so viel Dilettantismus! Schlimmer als das war allerdings das Ende unseres Abends: Nicht nur unsere Jacken, die in der Garderobe hangen, sondern auch wir selbst, die komplette Kleidung, Unterwäsche, Haare, ... alles roch ganz fürchterlich nach KÜCHE! Da half nur noch die Dusche sowie Waschmaschine bzw. Reinigung. Sehr schade!"
