"We enjoyed our food - hot sandwiches, fries, lettuce wraps, etc. - but it sure took a long time to come. It was busy and super loud for a week night. Would I go back? Probably not. You couldn't have a relaxed conversation. If you go, try off hours as the food was tasty."

"My one and only experience was terrible. I ordered the food that was in the showcase. It was old and disgusting. I was later told that if you order it fresh, they will make it for you. I had no idea. I thought it was like Panda Express. There food is always fresh. Won't go back."

"White Spot restaurant at Oakridge MallWhite Spot at Oakridge Mall in Vancouver is great for getting together for several reasons. First of all, they have added some great selections to their menus. Vegetarian meals such as curried quinoa are quite good. Their hot apple pie with ice cream still remains a favourite. Great salads and, of course, non vegetarian meals as well.The restaurant is easily accessible by car or bus. There is ample free parking. It has a friendly and service oriented staff. Their helping of food is quite generous, more than what I can eat at one time. The waitress was quite happy to make two potions, one for the table and one for taking home so I did not have to manage an over loaded plate.In addition, the mall offers very good shopping opportunities. Some of the boutiques keep designer clothes well worth exploring.We are seniors who meet once or twice a year to chat and eat together. White Spot at this location has become one of our favourite meeting places for lunch. Very nice."

"I've eaten here many many times and have yet to be disappointed. The decor is very dated but putting that aside, the food is fantastic. I always order the steak and lobster special with fries and have yet to be disappointed. I always recommend this place to people who have never been or heard of it."

"My husband and I have always loved the escargot starter at The Keg, so when our 5 and 8 year old children decided they wanted to give snails a try we thought we'd pop in. We had planned to go right at 4pm on Saturday but ended up getting there closer to 5pm and we were seated right away (by the time we came out an hour or so later, it was standing room only for a table). Our plan was for escargot and Billy Miner pie (another fave) and that was it - just to take our kids on an adventure and try something new. We ordered calimari as a back up (in case the snails didn't go over so well) and it was fantastic! Great consistency and loved both dips and the jalapeños. Turns out both kids liked the escargot and loved the calimari. The bread and whipped butter to start was lovely (as always) and unexpected because we were just getting starters and dessert but thank you! For dessert we had the classic Billy Miner pie - great big slice to share and also ordered creme brûlée because my daughter wanted to try something new. It was a generous size as well and a perfect addition to our adventure. Our server was lovely, sweet and made sure we were well taken care of (thank you to Myikayla). This isn't The Keg we normally go to but we'll be back - it was a great experience. We also love that The Keg has somewhat private tables (so not to worry if our kids needed to move around a little)."

"My good girlfriend of mine and I love this place, it's our go to place when we get togeather. Service is excellent. Emmy I think has always been our server. We both grew up in Walnut Grove..28 years..this is the place to go!!..we both got introduced to smoked bone marrow, who knew!!..the food is awesome!..love it!"
