"Two mates and I visited the Silver Lounge prior to departing having stayed overnight in Larne. First, the service fantastic. Very friendly and very swift which was a surprise as it was very busy. However our orders were taken quickly and there was minimal wait for our food. And what a breakfast it was the Ulster Fry. Sausage, bacon, eggs, soda bread, potato bread with additional white pudding and black pudding washed down with a decent cup of tea all for about £6.90. The food was full of flavour , so e of the tastiest sausages I have ever had and I was left very full afterwards. If I lived locally I would be a regular and weigh about 25 stone. Highly recommended."

"Coffee is reasonably good. Kids meal is served in a first aid kit....kids seemed to like it. Mine thankfully was on a plate. Service was friendly and relaxed and speed of service was fine. Value for money for what we had was excellent and overall I count this as a positive experience. Toilets are very nice, far in excess of what you would expect."

"An awesome pint of Guinness in a cosy pub. Food is great and the staff are attentive and friendly. The locals are friendly and great craic. Been here a couple of times during Saturday afternoons with the kids and they love the grub too!!! Definitely worth a visit!!!"

"Have never stayed here but always have at least one visit when I am in Ireland, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the food is always good, the puddings are... well let's say I usually can't choose so have two. Definitely well worth a visit if you fancy a meal out"

"My boyfriend had raved about the Rinkha before and how we should go and so yesterday we decided to go so I could try it! The establishment gives the feeling of an old ice cream parlour which I enjoyed and it just feels welcoming. There were about 12 flavours to choose from, all sounding great. I went for the strawberry one and the peaches and cream. Absolutely delicious the both of them! The boyfriend went for honeycomb and chocolate, and the strawberry cheesecake, which once again were really tasty. The prices were more than fair and the ice cream was creamy and really flavourful! We worth it"

"First time and very pleased with service and quality of food. We ate at 4pm prior to visiting the adjacent cinema. I think we definitely picked a good time as we were served quickly and without fuss. There was a good selection on the menu and there was also a specials menu that was available until 6 pm. I had a sirloin steak, which was excellently cooked and reasonably priced at £22. My parents had fish and chips, and a sizzling chicken dish. They were both pleased with their orders. Including drinks, the bill for 3 came to approximately £64, which I thought was pretty reasonable, considering the size of the servings. The drinks were expensive, approximately £5 for a small bottle of lager, but that tends to be the going rate these days. This was my first visit, so I don’t know how it compares to busier periods, however I had a pleasant experience."

"My partner and I called in today for a coffee as we have done at times before. The veiw and walk up to the cafe are beautifull and peaceful. There is pram and disabled access to cafe and toilets whitch are always very clean. The staff are lovely and helpful and not a bad choice off foo on offer. Only gripe is food not covered at the till, scones buns and other items just left open on plates, that is a germ and health issue as god knows what other people are spreadibg. There should also be a few notices outside in eating area about not letting dogs sit on or lick around the tables. There was a dog sitting on seat today and left a mess off wet muddy prints, not very nice. But it's still a lovely place to have a coffee and rest just a few niggles about dogs and u covered food."
