"This place is a local institution it's been around for decades much longer than the newer health food craze and movement. It's well stocked downstairs with food, with fresh stuff hidden in the back. Upstairs is for non edibles like cleaning stuff, make up, protein powders, essential oils, and so on. Nice enough staff, bit pokey"

"I had been looking forward to visiting J&J because I bought some of their hot chocolate at the London Coffee Festival and it was basically the most amazing hot chocolate I'd had. When I finally went there they made my drink non-vegan even though I requested vegan and whilst ordering we had a conversation about which of the chocolate is vegan. Frustratingly I didn't realise my drink wasn't vegan until tasting it. The staff member was pretty apologetic and gave me a refund for the drink but I won't return because that experience was really disappointing."

"I come here quite often to get a snack or meal when I'm on the go, visiting London or catching a train somewhere. There is an excellent selection of healthy fresh vegan goods including sandwiches, wraps, salads, desserts and so on as well as the more standard vegan whole foods shop type stuff such as nuts, crisps and sweets. Everything is very clearly marked as to whether it is suitable for vegans or vegetarians, gluten free, wheat free and so on. It's a bit on the pricey side but very good quality."

"Seriously the best food ever. Right off the Angel stop, this Indian restaurant is ALWAYS a buffet, all vegetarian, labels everything with vegan/veg and encourages you to bring your own alcohol for free. Super cheap (less than 9£ for a solid meal. They also give free meals to the homeless daily. Check it out"
