"What a lovely place. Cosy and friendly. We had hot chocolate, which was good. The cakes looked tempting, homemade style, but having just left the dentist we didn't have them this time. I hope to go back."

"Good bar at the top of the hill above the fish quay. Worth the walk up the steps to get to it. Good selection of drinks and we managed to get a seat looking out over the river. Didn’t have any food so couldn’t comment."

"I had the loaded fries with the hottest chilli sauce I have ever tried. After two chips I knew it was far too hot for me Also had the chicken strips which were OK. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. The pub is really busy and the staff are working really hard. The pints were spot on. Next time I go I will try something less spicy. Recommended"

"Really nice. large rooms and ample drinks menu! the eating was also decent, I had a ribeye steak (med rare) and it was properly cooked, beautiful juicy steak and the chips were brilliant, huge fat chips ideal it is not the cheapest place, and I think £24 was a bit expensive for the steak."
