"I had a wedding reception at mccabes and overall our experience was great I wrote a nice review for the lady whole helped organize it and deals with banquets. Fast forward a month after my event i receive a call stating they never received our final payment and we owed another 300 from our hotel room costs and 200 more for our dinner. She sent me the information with only my first payment on there( i made at the hotel). The second payment i made in cash to her directly where i got a receipt. She claimed to not have any record of it or remember taking my payment. Even though i was told my event would have been canceled without full payment 7 days before. Thank god i had my receipt because the manager above her head didnt even believe me until i emailed it to her since the banquet girl had not even shown the manager when i had sent her that same receipt.all i received in return was a sorry for the inconvenience from the head manager after giving me the hardest time. If i wouldnt have found they would have forced me to pay again. So if you do business there just make sure to keep everything!!!!!"

"NO STARS!!! Want to eat you soup with a knife!!! Order the French onion soup! A huge lump of bread will soak up all the broth and won’t break up with a spoon! Come knives in hand! Deep fried pickles are clearly frozen as are the spring rolls! They taste like it! So enjoy if you like to eat soup with a knife and eat from the bottom of a freezer! Gross! Don’t go!!! Not worth any penny!!!"

"Mariposa Market is one of those places where you can wander in not planning on buying anything in particular, but you end up leaving with something. From their cakes, to freshly made sandwiches and entrees, to the two stores that sell hand soaps to nighties...to books to stuffed animals, it's a great place to shop. The bakery items are amazing and always delicious. And if you just want to pop in for a coffee you can do that as well. Guaranteed good food."

"I did not know where to eat in Orillia, but I was assured that this was a popular spot. Many many take out orders as I waited for mine on the sunny patio outside Golden wok. Food was good, average maybe, but friendly evening to start my time there. Fried rice, Moo goo guy pan, Egg roll, dessert, Great location, near the beach."

"We have had meals here several times and have always had a great meal but not this time! We had a special dinner planned as a surprise for my sister and her new husband so we picked Ceders. The soup of the day was a Manhattan clam chowder but what was served was a tomato broth with a few tiny pieces of something. Chowders are at least supposed to have some veggies. When we said something to our server he said yeah a lot of the time it comes like that. My sister and I were served cold ribs which they took back and warmed up, but when we did get hot ribs they were tough and dry. They did take the cost of the ribs off our bill. But by the time the ribs came back inedible everyone else was done so we had a ceaser side salad for supper. Overall we were very disappointed with the food. Maybe it was because it was a Sunday night and not very busy but we'll think twice about going back there. Unfortunately it appears the food quality at casino Rama appears to be going downhill as the new buffet isn't as good as it used to be."

"Amazing food. I was surprised how fast the line moved. All ordered were correct, the staff are very efficient. I would highly recommend it, don't be discouraged by the line. It moves very fast. And the people complaining about paying cash, It's only to keep the flow. They should however put a sign up stating that it's cash only. This place with be a tradition for our family."

"Went for family supper. Place was packed outside. Server was friendly but there was a lot of issues with all tables when food was coming out. A lot of confusion with workers, orders etc. Did not get our order for drinks and appetizers for almost 20-25 minutes. Server apologized and they were nice to take the appetizers off the bill. Didn’t have to say anything and they acted on their own which was refreshing. Food was good and server was very friendly. We would return for another try."
