"If you ever wondered how good the food could be if you were Mexican and your grandmother cooked for you, the answer is. We went to this charming little restaurant for lunch after a long morning in the pyramids. The food is cooked and served by older women, whose presence complements the traditional atmosphere of the place. The whole food is authentic “homemade” and delicious. They also make traditional deserts. Try something you haven't had yet; I had the caramelized cactus! Can't recommend enough."

"Stop here with our tour group after visiting Teotihuacan and expected the worst when it was a tourist trap. Pleasantly surprised by the experience. We skipped the buffet, as it looked quite moderate and ordered the menu. We splashed and had the Molcajete for 4 people and a few Cervezas. The Molcajet cost about $60 for 4 of us and was really pleasant. It made more of a wait to get our food, but it was worth it."
