"There were five of us having a working dinner at DasGolds. All of us enjoyed our meals and the wine choices were very good. I had the wiener schnitzel which was cooked very well and was not oily/greasy. I would have liked it to be served with some green vegetables instead of only some potatoes but this could be the Austrian way to serve this dish. The appelstrudel was dissapointing - unfortunately. It was a bit soggy as if it had been heated in a microwave. Other than that the overal experience was good. I recommend the apricot schnapps."

"The food was excellent. Old style atmosphere. I had the chance to try some old style Austrian food and it was excellent. You will need a car to get to the restaurant as it is not centrally based."

"I took the cheap option of eating in St. Polten as I was on a budget. The staff did not have great English (I would not blame them). So I had some difficulty explaining that I did not want salt on the food. The food was what passes for edible and it was open late."

"Yesterday was great... Yesterday is simply the bar in Austria when it comes to drinks, creative cocktails and atmosphere. Although rather a small bar, it offers a wide range of exclusive and rare drinks as well as cigars. Most cocktails offer you a daily dose of vitamins and make you think you are on a tropical island. To keep it short, if you're ever around St. Pölten in Lower Austria, surely visit yesterday. You will not regret the experience."
