"A friend and I drove to Nether Stowey for the day and enjoyed a really long walk, much of it uphill to a former fortress. (Or something he's a history buff and I'm not The weather was exceptionally humid, so, by the time we...got back to the village, I'd developed a powerful thirst. He'd been to the Quantock Tea Room before and liked it so we went there and I had the best pot of tea that I've had in ages. He had a white coffee and a pastry and we sat chatting for half an hour or so. We were the only people there. I'll definitely return here the next time I'm in the area."

"Unfortunately everything else in this depressing service station was shut so we were forced to get a Burger King. What we were presented was not what we had ordered, looked like it had been slapped together with 0 care and was also completely flavourless. I...could have had sympathy is they were rushed off their feet however we were their only customers. However, the person who served us was very kind and polite."

"Burnham was crowded with tourists, but this lovely little cafe down the quiet end of the High Street was perfect for a relaxed lunch. We had delicious paninis, followed by a yummy pecan slice. We enjoyed it so much we lingered for more drinks after...eating. It's hidden away in the quiet end of town but is well worth a visit!"

"Green king pub. You het what you pay for. Drinks were ok. Sadly the burgers tasted of old feet. Didnt have time to talk to any staff so had to leave without telling anyone. Guess you get what you pay for."

"Brilliant pub in a nice tucked away area. Owner was very welcoming and kind, 5* service. We really enjoyed our drinks and meal there and could not believe the value for money, contrary to some of the reviews on Google. All I can say is, take little notice of all the bad reviews. After all it is the Daily mail that they’ve been reading, known for it’s truth and reason Rooms: 5"

"We celebrated our golden wedding day here on new years eve, from beginning to end we had a fantastic experience, the staff was wonderful, so helpful they could not do enough for us, the atmosphere was great, the foot was beautiful and the music well, we enjoyed it very much and would recommend it to everyone, we hope to go back this year."
