"We walked in when we only had to eat somewhere before we left, oh boy will not be deceived by the prices. The chicken dish was anemic and was extremely disappointing, the pasta dishes were unfavorable and full of water, taste nuance and any kind of ingredients, and the Calamari was only salty and dry. Not to mention the rude staff and lack of tap water, where the filled water WAS €6!!! Don't come here, you'll just be disappointed. It's not the mood. ALSO, waiter encouraged us to leave a tip after all and made clear that it was not included in the bill"

"My wife and I have been in Split for 10 days, we have ate at several “highly rated” restaurants, which turned out to be average at best. Tonight, we hit the jackpot, we decided to try Bakra, everything was absolutely delicious!!! I had the Ribeye steak and the Cheesecake, my wife had the Chicago steak and chocolate cake. Both were amazing, I haven’t had a steak that juicy and flavorful in years, and the cheesecake…Wow! Bravo to the cooks!!! The atmosphere is terrific, cozy and inviting, our waiter “Tonci” made us feel like family, very friendly and attentive. Well worth your time and money, don’t look any further, eat here! Thank you Bakra and Tonci for a lovely evening!"

"A beautiful underground (although it's a courtyard Kind of club. When we were there they had a jazz band playing which was not necessarily to our liking but the setting of the club is gorgeous. Please note that they only take cash and at times they have a cover charge at the entrance (very minimal, only 30Kn). Drinks are strong and cheap!"

"It is difficult not to see this relaxed food bar in the narrow streets of the Old Town of Split. Both by the sofas with colorful cushions, and by their name, that jumps in sight. And the fact that the manager speaks Italian and has lived in Italy suggests that the meaning of the name is not completely unknown to him. But let's not investigate anymore. This cosy bar serves drinks and also good quality food (especially pasta made there), and is very popular, especially at night, when it is filled for the snack. Of course, there is free wi-fi (and, in fact, tables during the afternoon are often occupied by clients with laptop or tablet). Split is really a recommended place."
