"After 3 wks in taichung I was fed with all franchise and fast food sites and found this little gem. from the well-maintained and clean dog welcomes her at the door, another dog brings the menu, serviettes or cutlery on her table in a basket, the fresh, healthy food and drinks to the friendly owners and their history of taking care of dogs and more"

"It is really the challenge to find vegan brot in taiwan: butter, milk, eggs, honey and even milk powder is often used. but at fortunate coffee I can be sure that what I get is a clean brot. they are currently baking on Wednesday and selling for the week from Thursday. I have the coffee and chocolate bread (NT$60) that was the perfect size for someone who lives alone. the staff recommended that I cut home, and freeze it to ferment the brot from the continuation. reheating was so easy to take a disc out of the freezer and scattered it for a few minutes. I enjoyed every disc with a nut butter and some cocoa butter. I look forward to tasting their other brote!"

"Met up with some veg*n friends for afternoon tea NT$388 10% service fee . You pay before you go in, so you can leave whenever you want to. The food was pretty good, but I wish they had vegan pizza options and more vegan desserts. More than half of the items were vegan, but it's always nice to have more, especially when some items that should be vegan are not, like their 銀絲卷. The dim sum steamed meat buns 小肉包 were pretty awesome, as were the black sesame buns. I'm thankful they had a delicious mango sorbet, too. But the funny thing was that my absolute favorite offering wasn't food at all: it was their nitro black tea! It tasted so creamy that I was incredulous that they didn't put milk in it. Their lychee soda was also surprisingly tasty, but I would recommend asking them to add less sugar in their drinks when you order."

"I didn't feel hungry enough to order a full set, so I decided only for the spicy kitsune udon noodle soup on my own (NT$170). And yet it still came with a small side of dried bean curd, my selection of drinks (almond tea, winter melon tea, or black tea), and black tofu pudding. What a great thing! The noodles are handmade and have more bites than packed. They sell them so you cook at home. In addition, they make other items like steamed rolls NT$30 each) in different flavors. The only ovo-vegetarian entree is the salad (option 2), and if you do not add the onsenei, your noodles will be vegan. Regarding the pages, the egg tofu (option 1), roasted cheese rolls (option 3) and tomato cups (option 11) are ovo- and lacto-vegetarian. The Italian eggplant (option 12) is cooked in the same oil as eggs if you want to control it clearly. It is not super authentic Japanese Udon, but I assume the aromas and the feeling of the place makes for it. Updated by previous review on 2019-11"
