"This is a very pleasant eatery placed facing the lake with the Vevey community library as its neighbor. There is a good choice of vegetarian dishes and a rich brunch menu. The wine and drinks list is extensive and well chosen offering many local products. They feature several evening cultural events per month. The decoration is simple, catering to a young clientele and staff is friendly and efficient. Highly recommended for the not so formal client."

"Babette’s is easy to find along the vevey promenade/quai – east past the huge fork/fourchette and look for a shiny airstream camper with the brandise up! for a tiny airstream it is loaded with options from cappuccinos and frappés (choose your ice taste) to Sodas...and sandwiches. a few huge canvas sunshades offer shades over tables and chairs or simply sit along the concrete edge around the lake. order them inside or outside under the brand. service is friendly, visibility is stunning and the location is directly through a green graspark."

"Not bad for lunch... come here sometimes but not to often. Choice is good but good is generally fairly fat as they cook with too much oil / fat. Not bad but don't expect to much..."
