"Service was inattentive, wait times were excessive, no update on when our order would be arriving, half the table got their food while the other half had to wait 15 minutes more. Portions were small $36 for 3 scallops?!?!? Promised a complimentary dessert which did not arrive after 15 more minutes. Wait staff in the back room folding to go pizza boxes instead of processing our check. NEVER AGAIN!!!"

"I really enjoy every meal at 231 Ellsworth and always ask myself why we don't go there more often. The service is great but still casual and not as stilted as so many top tier restaurants where you are dealing with robots vs real people. If you haven't been go and enjoy, don't set your expectations too high and you will love it. If it's been a while since you've been, go back soon and just sit back and enjoy."

"The course dinner was exceptional but a little hit and miss. While the steak and desert was stunning the scallops were in a sauce which was too acidic. The lobster was a little under cooked although the table side serving was great. Overall it's a great experience but not the best Michelin dinning experience out there. The price makes the little mistakes much more noticeable."
