"I was on my way with friends. The atmosphere was great, and I had the red snapper. It was exquisite. I also enjoyed a cheese plate from local farms, which was a great way to start dinner with a glass of wine. Drive to this corner of Virginia and enjoy. I'm looking forward to coming back soon."

"Cameron was outstanding!!! He was the perfect level of attentive, even though he had way too many tables to serve. I am not a wine drinker and Cameron offered a sample of a wine that was perfect. He listened to the flavor profile I enjoyed as well as that of my companion and somehow brought a sample both of us could drink He's a wine wizard lol. In addition to this recommendation he maintained his composure regardless of how many tables tried to get his attention and having to hustle to move guest sitting outside indoors, when the sky opened up l and it started to pour down rain. The hostesses were accommodating as well. The pleasant attitudes of every staff member made the experience enjoyable. Now for the food I had a whiskey flight which was lovely. I typically have sweet cocktails so I can't taste the alcohol but the apple, cinnamon and honey whiskeys were enjoyable straight. They were bittersweet with a distinct taste of apple, cinnamon or honey. I could enjoy any of the 3 blended into a hot totty or tea. We only partook in appetizers but the chicken quesadilla was seasoned perfectly. It was clearly fresh chicken breast, onions and green peppers. Not too salty or overly seasoned. The charcuterie board was tasty as well. I'm not a dip fan and I enjoyed the hummus and forgive my uncouthness for not recalling the name of the olive paste dip but it was good as well and I typically only enjoy olives on a supreme pizza. Very fresh food, abundant beer, wine spirit selections, excellent location (Old Town Alexandria)and professional attentive staff, what more could I ask for?"

"Close enough to the action and far enough to not feel like your eating at a tourist spot. The food was spot on delicious! I had the jambalaya and my husband had the Creol shrimp. Both had lots of flavor and the portion sizes are just right. I loved the variety on the liquor menu. Service was above par and I really appreciated the attentiveness. "Hello all.I ordered Combo rice noodle,The shrimp egg foo young,And the wonton soup.I don't think a lot of people understand the American Chinese food.I grew up in California.As a child, many of my weekendsWe're going to visit my uncle In San Francisco and it was a daily thing to go to Chinatown.I am 62 years old.I have tried Chinese food, or American Chinese food,From many places from the west coast to the East Coast.The reason I stress American Chinese food, is because that is whatAmericans are used to.I could have used a little bit more shrimp in my order.But that is what is going on now with covid and trying to get ingredients with the owner trying to get deliveries.. no truckers to deliver food. When you try to order food to go or delivery.It's all okay.Because the taste that you will get from Good LuckChinese,Is nothing but incredible.This place has been an institutionFrom back in the 80s.It has been almost forty years.This place really does do quality food.You will not be disappointed."
