"The atmosphere is mysterious at first..... I arrived at what seemed to be a waiting room or lobby. I asked the person inside of my athletic short and t was ok to wear and she said it was fine and to head upstairs. I got to the top and there was a fantastic dining room with a fireplace on one side and a bar area on the other side. The people eating looked way too fancy for me so I opted to go outside on the patio. The server asked me if I was expecting someone and I replied with something on the order of that I did not like people and I prefer to eat alone. The patio is a romantic setting overlooking the creek or something on that order. I was disappointed that I put in an order for duck and it was sold out early in the night. However, oh my goodness, the strip steak was sooooo fantastic that I was glad the duck was gone. The whole atmosphere is beautiful here. The servers are sweet and eager to please. I am looking forward to bringing my boyfriend back. It is lovely...."

"In my opinion, in a town with a large number of good restaurants, Coquina is the best. I've dined there at least 10 times and have never been disappointed. In fact, some of the dishes have been the best Preparations I've tasted. For example, the fois gras is on a par or perhaps even better than that which I experienced at the French Laundry. That may sound sacrilegious but this chef is that good."
